課程概述 |
In the 19th Centurty, under the motto of arts for arts, aesthetics, the foundation of arts, has been separated from politics and social activities.
For the Marxists, aesthetics, ever since Plato, is closely connected with politics. Thus, the critique of politics must begin with the critique of arts, and the restoration of a just society can be possible only if a rediscovery of aesthetics in the people or the absolute class.
Georg Lukacs’ Theory of Novel (1911) explores the Marxist critique of arts as the ideology of the oppressor-class, and tries to rediscover the roots of arts (novel)ij the class consciousness.
Theodor Adorno’s Aesthetics Theories attempts to break up the traditional bourgeois and rational aesthetics, and to bring back the sense of freedom in creative arts.
